Feather Meal Prices Sharply Higher

Feather meal prices were up sharply out of the Alabama/Georgia market and increases were seen in the Carolinas, Delmarva and Mid-South markets as well. The strong soybean meal market and strong demand from feed, export and late aqua demand are all contributing to the higher prices.

Ruminant and porcine MBM prices moved in opposite directions last week with the increased hog slaughter starting to cap the rally in the porcine market.
