** Notice** The Jacobsen will discontinue reporting various price points beginning January 1, 2021. Regional biodiesel reporting as well as The Jacobsen B100 Index will be removed in favor of additional biodiesel and renewable diesel price points. Renewable Diesel (cents/gal) California LA will be eliminated along with Biodiesel LA CA dlvd ($/MT). International reporting will be adjusted to better reflect both the Renewable Diesel and Biodiesel Market.
Pending Small Refinery Exemptions (SREs) Rise by 8
Along with yesterday’s release of the October production data for renewable fuels, the EPA reflected an increase in the number of pending petitions to waive Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for calendar year 2019 and 2020. The RFS requires obligated parties to blend a mandated percentage of renewable fuel in with the transportation fuel supply.
