Organic Corn Prices Edge Higher in Europe

 

Organic corn prices in Europe remain elevated. The surge in conventional corn prices in the Black Sea region continues to help buoy organic corn prices in the region. Merchandisers are quoting organic corn out of Romania at 265-Euros per metric ton or $315. Organic corn prices in the PA region are steady but have edged higher and are quoted near $8.75-$9 per bushel. Prices in Romania, which is a producing region are equal to prices in Pennsylvania, which is a consuming region. This reflects the strong draw of conventional corn in the black sea region.
