DCO Prices Continue To Climb

Three cars of lard traded steady into/through the Chicago market today at 41 cents per pound. Distillers corn oil (DCO) prices were higher again today across all geographies. Soybean oil values are up over 38 cents per pound as of midday and higher values through November have bolstered the DCO market. There has been trading above and below the printed range late yesterday and today, but the bulk of activity has been around the 35 cents per pound average. Ethanol production was estimated higher by the EIA for last week at 990,000 barrels per day, the highest since the week ending March 20th.
