The protein market was remarkably quiet today ahead of the holiday break. Most of the buyers and sellers were busy with trucking issues. There may be buying opportunities for buyers able to get trucks lined up for Friday or over the weekend, but overall the market is steady heading into December. January soybean meal futures were off slightly midday, but with values around the $395 per ton mark, animal proteins should continue to see support at current levels. One…
