Organic Corn Prices Remain Stable on the Coasts

 

Organic corn prices continue to hover near the $7 level, as imports into the US remain robust. Organic corn prices on the coasts are stable, hovering near the $330-$335 on both the east and west coasts (Pennsylvania and California). Demand remains stable.

The US Customs Department reported on Friday that organic corn imports in October increased by 23K tons to 25.2K tons. While the volume increased month-over-month, it was down approximately 42% year over year compared to the same period in 2019. Historically, a plethora of organic corn imports have made their way to the US in Q4. In 2019, slightly more than 63K metric tons of organic whole corn was imported into the US.
