Organic Turkey Slaughter Tumbles Post Holiday Rush

 

Organic soybean meal prices remain elevated, but prices could ease into the year-end. Prices have reduced slightly on the NCDEX, which might provide a temporary respite from the surge in organic soybean meal prices. Exporters are quoting organic soybean meal in India near $680 per metric ton with lower offers near $670 and the higher offers above $700. Shipping rates remain high on both coasts of the US. In the mid-west range, prices of organic soybean meal range from $870 for imports in the eastern mid-west to as high as $930 in the western-mid-west.
