Strong Renewable Demand Pushes DCO Prices Higher

Distillers corn oil (DCO) prices moved higher today on continued strong demand from the feed and biodiesel sector ahead of holiday downtimes. Ethanol production was estimated at 991,000 barrels per day, the highest level since the week ending March 20th. Distillers corn oil production is estimated at 9.4 million pounds per day for last week. While supply was up for last week, again, it’s expected to decrease through the last two weeks of the year. Additionally, the overall supply in the feedstock and feed fat market is tighter and there is strong demand from the renewable diesel sector.
