Growing Ethanol Stocks Might Lead to Reduced DDGS Output

 

Ethanol production increased 19,000 barrels per day to a 976 million-barrel-per-day average during the week ending December 18, 2020.  DDGS and Ethanol volumes continue to oscillate with production near peak levels since the pandemic announcement.  Weekly output increased two percent but was 10 percent below levels seen at this time last year. DDGS output increased by 1,807 metric tons per day but was 10,177 MT per day below production from a year ago.

Gasoline supply edged higher for a second straight week, rising 0.60 percent but was 14 percent below 2019 levels for the same period. Ethanol stocks increased one percent to 23.2…
