Weekly Grain Values Continue Higher

 

Grain Prices Press to Six-Year Highs 

Soybean and soybean meal values are trading at their highest levels since 2014.  Adverse weather conditions in South America combined with export troubles in Argentina are over shadowing concerns over the mutated strain of Coronavirus moving from Europe to countries around the world.

Prices are not just rising in the soybean complex, corn and wheat prices are trading at or near highs not seen since 2014 as well.  Strong export demand for corn is continuing to buoy prices and wheat is well supported as Russia tightens the amount they allow for export.  Weather remains key in South America and could allow for soybeans to move higher if production is seen as falling in South America, given the tight stocks seen in the US.
