Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
According to the Energy Information Agency (EIA), the United States imported 43.6 million gallons of biomass-based diesel (D4) during October. Imports of D4 were 18 percent over September and three percent above the volume imported during October of 2019.
