Organic Milk Sales are Growing

Organic milk demand is on the rise. Both the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and The Jacobsen proprietary data show this is the case. According to the AMS, one of the largest U.S. organic cooperatives announced that organic milk demand is increasing across the country. The AMS reports that organic milk demand grew 11.3% in the last year and 8.4% in the past six months. This information compares to The Jacobsen retail organic milk sales data that shows that organic milk sales increased 10% year over year across the U.S. and was up by 8% year over year during the past 6-months.
