Organic Corn Creeps Higher

 

Organic corn prices are creeping up, and the upward momentum on the coast eventually will drag the Midwest prices higher. Organic corn prices in the Pennsylvania region are quoted near $10.75 per bushel. If that remains at that level, it will likely push organic corn prices in the mid-west up to the $8.50 level. Farmers have been waiting to receive $8 picked up, and this upward movement on the coast is what would need to occur for this to happen. On the east coast in Canada, organic corn has been trading near $410 per metric ton, which equates to approximately $7.5 per bushel.
