Feathermeal traded lower out of the Mid-South and Minnesota markets this week. Over the last five years, the March average price for Mid-South feather meal has been higher than February three times, or 60 percent. The Mid-South market has averaged $19.53 higher in March relative to February over the 2015 – 2020 period. Seasonal increases in fertilizer and aquaculture demand have helped boost prices in the past, but shipping delays are contributing to heavier interior supply.
