Weekly LCFS Credit Volume 89% Over 2021 Average   

Weekly LCFS credit volume of 722,092 was significantly above last week’s volume and  89 percent over the 2021 weekly average of 382,939.  Trading volume was also 110 percent above the same weekly period last year.   First quarter volume is nine percent over fourth quarter volume and 51 percent above Q1 of 2020. The average price paid per credit increased $3.63 to $199.42. Of the 55 transactions during the week, 13 percent were type 1 transfers of 90,452 credits and 87 percent were type 2 transfers totaling 631,640. Type 1 transactions are executed within 10 days of an agreement. Type 2 transactions are executed beyond 10 days of a transfer agreement.
