Biofuels prices were marginally higher today, but feedstock prices increased sharply with soybean oil up limit on the May contract today. Buyers in the feedstock markets were mostly on the sidelines after bidding lower prices to close out last week. The HOBO spread widened significantly today with bean oil up 18.75 cents per gallon while heating oil was 0.7 cents per gallon. RIN prices did increase by 15 cents per gallon, offsetting some of the widening gap in the HOBO spread.
