DCO Production Remains Tight

Yellow grease traded higher out of the Illinois and Missouri River markets as well as into the KS/TX and Gulf markets. A wide spread to choice white grease and steady demand have pushed prices sharply higher today.

Distillers corn oil prices are unchanged on limited trading. Indications for the next trading level are sharply higher with offers reported as high as 53 FOB Midwestern ethanol plants. Production remains tight with seasonal downtime continuing to keep a lid on production. The EIA estimated ethanol production at an average of 945,000 barrels per day for last week.
