LCFS Credit Volume 61% Belos 2021 Weekly Avg

 

LCFS Average Credit Price Lowest Since May 2019

Weekly LCFS credit volume of 203,362 was 92 percent over last week’s volume but 61 percent below the 2021 weekly average of 521,050.  Second quarter volume is two percent below first quarter volume but 15 percent above Q2 of 2020. The average price paid per credit declined $0.93 to $185.37, reaching its lowest weekly level since May 2019. Of the 25 transactions posted, type 1 transfers totaled 58,362 credits and type 2 transfers 145,000 credits. Type 1 transfers accounted for 44 percent of the transactions and 29 percent of the volume.
