Packer BFT traded in a range on a Chicago basis today. Renderer remains quiet and supply chain interruptions may keep the market quiet until the new year. Distiller’s corn oil traded higher out of the number of locations this afternoon and lower on the bottom side of the spot Nebraska/Kansas market.

The market dynamics are the same as the week and the year draws to a close. Most buyers and sellers appear to be fairly well bought/sold for the remainder of the year and bids/offers for January are still out in a wide spread. The higher soybean oil market over the last two days may coax bids higher, but sellers seem confident that shipping issues will start to improve in January.
