OMB Unified Agenda Includes Provision to Consider RFS Pathway for Canola Oil

Expected rulemaking abstracts were included in the White House Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Fall 2021 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, published earlier this month. The Unified Agenda includes input form over 50 Departments, Councils, and Commissions. 

The agency rule list for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) includes a proposed rule to be considered for the long-awaited canola oil pathway for renewable diesel.

The EPA is expected to issue a proposed rule in January 2022 for Canola oil pathways for renewable diesel, jet fuel, naphtha, and liquid propane gas.  The abstract of the proposed rule…
