Organic corn prices continue to face upward pressure and are starting to increase in the mid-West. Offers are edging toward the $10.75 per bushel level, while bids in the heart of the mid-West remain near $9.75-10.25 delivered. Merchandisers tell Fastmarkets that organic corn on the Coasts continues to rise. Organic corn on the West coast has values near $495 per short ton, while there are still offers for organic corn near the $445 level on the West coast. While there seem to be organic cracked corn imports coming from Turkey and organic whole corn imports from Canada, feed mills primarily rely on domestic organic corn to satisfy their feed needs.
