The organic grain markets are on edge. Organic soybean meal prices are offered near $1,600 per short ton on both coasts. There is not a lot around, but it has not broken the bank since it only accounts for 20% of the feed.

Organic corn is a different story. A rally in organic corn, which can make up as much as 80% of the inputs into organic animal feed, could put a dent in livestock raising margins.
