HF Sinclair to Become Second Largest U.S. RD Producer

 

HollyFrontier Becomes HF Sinclair

HollyFrontier officially became HF Sinclair, the new parent holding company of HollyFrontier and Holly Energy Partners following the completion of their respective acquisitions of Sinclair Oil Corporation and Sinclair Transportation Company. The change took place Tuesday March 15. HF Sinclair will trade under the ticker symbol “DINO”.

HF Sinclair will be the parent company of a fully integrated downstream petroleum and renewable fuels company. The company features the following core competencies:

  • An expanded refining business with seven complex refineries that convert discounted, heavy and sour crudes into a gasoline, diesel, and other high value refined products.
  • A growing renewables business with three production facilities that are expected to produce approximately 380 million gallons of renewable diesel annually.
  • A multi-national lubricants business.
