Pricing was mixed on Tuesday with porcine and poultry bloodmeal moving higher, poultry-by-product items continued to note pressure, and meat and bonemeal products witnessed pushback at higher offer levels. This has been attributed to the already top-heavy markets and buyers extending themselves the previous few weeks over fears of higher prices, which has ledo limited availability. The spread of HPAI cases, and end of Q1 are also contributing to slower trading. 

January Inedible Meatmeal and Feathermeal Exports Higher YOY

Exports for inedible meatmeal (IE MM) for January 2022 totaled 84,458 MT, climbing 5.5 percent or 4,390 MT year-over-year but dropping slightly less than one percent from the month prior. Export numbers for IE MM for the first month of the year since 2019 has shown an incline with January…
