Animal Proteins – International 25.5.23

Large price adjustments were not observed on international animal proteins this week, though slight range adjustments were indicated from most contacts.

Feathermeal and bloodmeal levels were higher on steady demand levels. Poultry meal was mixed to firmer as participants in Australia indicate domestic aqua and petfood as major buyers for poultry meal. Export interest has pushed poultry meal prices higher for the near term.

Meat and bonemeal values were varied with values to China lower by $5.00/mt, falling under $700/mt. Meanwhile, Indonesia dropped down $10/mt with several contacts communicating trades at $690/mt.
