Organic Corn Prices Dip as Planting Progresses

As organic corn trading begins to pick up in the Midwest, corn planting is well underway.  Organic Corn – Midwest has settled around the $10 mark recently:

As of May 21, 81% of the national corn crop is planted.  This is 12% ahead of last year’s progress and 6% above 5-year average.  These figures are also a good indication of organic corn planting.
