Tumble in Palm, SBO Prices Limits Trading Again

Tumble in Palm, SBO Prices Limits Trading Again

Please note – Ryan Standard will be out of the office through Friday, June 2nd. In his absence, please contact Amanda Luhavalja at [email protected].

Trading was mostly quiet again today. More indications were tossed around than yesterday, but ongoing weakness in vegetable oil futures continued to limit actual deal-making. Ten truckloads of yellow grease sold at 46 cents FOB Illinois, down 1.5 cents.

UCO indications were lower today, with bids at 55 cents delivered into the Gulf for the nearby and 1-month forward positions. In the tallow market, indications for packer BFT into the Gulf eased to 55 cents delivered.
