On both the international and US markets, most items saw steady values with only slight range adjustments. The largest change on the US front was on feathemeal, which saw downward pressure from the soymeal declines leading to a low of $606/mt fob on most regions. With the end of the month, a shortened week, as well as highly unsettled tones, wider ranges were witnessed due to current and out-front pricing levels.
The MLA estimated Australian National harvest at 116,534 head for week ending May 26th. This is down 2.5 percent or 3,017 head from last week but 20.0 percent or 19,445 head higher from last year. Slaughter levels continue to remain well above the prior year for 2023,
