Hog Slaughter Forecast Lower into July

Four cars of packer BFT traded down a 1/2 cent to 56 Chicago today, three cars of CWG traded steady at 54 Chicago. Lard traded down to 80 cts/lb Chicago on what was otherwise a fairly quiet day. Most seemed content to wait out the market a bit ahead of the EPA’s RVO announcement, which has a deadline of June 14th.
