There are really no adjectives to completely describe the organic corn market. Activity is slow. It’s slow, not because there are no buyers who need to purchase in the future or sellers who want to unload their bins.
The activity is slow as the battle of greed and fear unfolds during the balance of the marketing year. Unfortunately, this game of chicken is likely to bring additional volatility to the organic corn market as the price resolves itself.
