Market Update
Wheat midds were reported as highly mixed for the week on a combination of increased production schedules, hit-and-miss demand, volatility on the CBOT, and persistent accounts of reformulations on animal feed. MN and Buffalo were stronger for the day while KC was lower. Kansas City was reduced to $160-170/st due to higher crushing levels weighing on tones. Meanwhile, active demand levels in MN and Buffalo have led to values similar to KC in the near term. Also affecting the market is higher cattle grazing as well as lower head counts than previously expected.
