EU Prices Continue to Slide on Veg Oils, Biodiesel Imports

Trading out of the ANZ market was mostly quiet this week, but there were some local price adjustments based on a weaker NZ dollar and a stronger AUS dollar. Demand remains strong from the renewable sector, both in the APAC region as well as from North America.
European prices slid again this week on pressure from lower priced veg oils and heavy import volumes for biodiesel. Used cooking oil prices were mixed, but remain weak relative to the US market due to the imported UCOME volumes.
