Corn and Soybean Conditions Continue to Slip

Market Update

Corn gluten products had limited trading activity since the Friday WASDE report. Prices for corn gluten feed were communicated as trending upwards, ranging between $170-$180 for spot and out front. In addition, reports of corn gluten meal was confirmed at a low of $500.

CME grain pricing experienced an uptick across most grain items, except for corn which decreased in value due to limited rainfall. Soybean prices surged following the report by the USDA regarding reduced crop quality, increasing $0.2650 to $13.99/st. In addition, soymeal gained $0.10 to $397.50/st, while wheat rose slightly by $0.0250 to $6.36/st.
