Market Update

Wheat midds were reported as mixed for the week, experiencing an upswing in demand in some regions as well as an inverse to the CBOT. The prices for Minnesota remained robust while Buffalo and Kansas City saw a dip. Western markets have been indicated as tighter, with Kansas City seeing a reduction to $150-160/st.

CME grain pricing trend was mostly negative, as the corn market was pressured by Brazilian harvests, leading to a decrease of $0.0475 to $6.07/st. Soybeans dropped due to traders seeking profits and relief from yesterday’s rain, going down by $0.1100 to $13.88/st. Soymeal also had a dip, decreasing $7.80 to $389.70/st, and wheat decreased of $0.0600 to $6.30/st.
