Soybean Oil Drives Bullish Run in DCO, UCO Market

Please Note – The Jacobsen offices will be closed on Monday for the Juneteenth holiday. We will resume our normal publication schedule on Tuesday, June 20th.
Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) prices were higher again today on trading reported for July and August shipment. Sources continue to report that many sellers, as well as buyers, are holding off on big volume trades until after the EPA releases the RVO. With the soybean oil futures market screaming higher buyers covering short positions have had to pay increasingly higher prices.
Choice white grease did trade higher today into/through the Chicago market at 58 cts/lb. Strong FOB values out of the production areas helped to boost that market. Tallow trading was quiet today.
