CBOT Grain Rally Limit Trade; Six-Week Broiler Slaughter In-Line with 2022

A rally on most CBOT grain items led to some participants sitting on the sidelines for Wednesday. Unsettled weather conditions are expected to affect the CME for the near term due to anticipations of persistent and widespread drought. Most animal protein values were within, or slightly outside, the previously set ranges. A high of $1350/st was reported on porcine bloodmeal, Indiana. Contacts communicated tight offering levels on both porcine and ruminant items, as active demand persists even with the higher relative values to other animal feed items.
