Weekly Average Prices for Fats Higher, Gulf UCO Slips

Trading was very quiet to close out the week with no changes reported. Animal fats remain tight and there were indications for BFT at 63.5 Chicago, but outside of the Chicago rail corridor. High temps are affecting ffa levels and it is the time of year when in-spec material becomes tight. The slower kills in addition to the holiday break are likely to keep nearby supply tight in the coming weeks.
