Hidden Gems for Biomass-Based Diesel in EPA 2023-2025 Final Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has the unenviable task of managing the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and creating volume requirements that are not going satisfy all participants. The program must also be presented to the Office of Management and Budget and be able to withstand congressional and executive scrutiny.

There is a lot of information contained in in the final rule and accompanying documentation. The final rule is 468 pages, regulatory analysis is 465 pages, and reviewing comments received and EPA response is another 389 pages.
