Trading was more active today, with a flurry of markets moving at higher prices. Demand for choice white grease (CWG) remained strong. CWG traded higher at 57 cts/lb FOB out of the Carolinas. Five loads were reported at 56 cts/lb FOB into the Missouri River, with the bulk of trading reported at that level today. Ten cars of technical tallow were reported at 73.50 cts Chicago, with two trading within the 30-day window.
