International Animal Proteins 07.07.2023

A mixed call was noted on international animal proteins this week. Lower poultry by-product pet grade values in Southeast Asia were indicated, mostly due to the drop on the U.S. domestic front. Australia meat and bonemeal was modestly firmer this week, while NZ meat and bonemeal was flat.

Meat and bonemeal values into Indonesia and China were also stagnant for a third week. Pricing for meat and bonemeal, ovine, was lower in Australia with most reported trades at the lower end of the range. New Zealand witnessed slight range alterations from last week.
