Twelve Breaks Ground on SAF Startup

Twelve, formerly known as Opus 12, is a team of electrochemists, material scientists, and engineers with expertise in the field of CO2 electrocatalysis and electrochemical reactor design. In May, Twelve and Emerging Fuels Technology signed a Master License Agreement to scale-up production of Twelve’s sustainable E-Jet fuel.

At the Paris Air Show on June 19, Twelve announced plans to build an industrial sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility. Less than a month later, Twelve broke ground for the facility on the site of a former sugar beet mill in Moses Lake, Washington.
