Weekly Market Update
Grain and feed items were mixed throughout the week. The market experienced limited trading activity, as participants prepared for the Wednesday USDA WASDE announcement and adjustments to the CBOT prices. After the release of the WASDE, the report revealed more available grains in the U.S. than anticipated for the 2023/24 period. DDGs in the Midwest moved lower this week due to scattered movement in corn and soybean prices. Participants report plant production is still on the rise, with plenty of DDGs around in a tight-demand domestic and export market.
Corn gluten products remained steady throughout the week, weak exports and lack of demand continues to be the main concern in the market.
