Trading was fairly quiet today but there were a few markets that did trade higher. Technical tallow traded up to 75 cts/lb Chicago today. There are offers out at higher prices for packer BFT, but thus far buyers haven’t been willing to cross the spread. Trading has been indicated outside of the Chicago rail corridor at values closer to 67-68 Chicago, which adds upward pressure to the Chicago market for the next traded position.
