Ranges Widen on Mo. River and Eastern IA/ILL Porcine MBM

Active demand and limited offerings have continued to be indicated on porcine bloodmeal, moving most regions up, with a high of $1400/st in Eastern IA/ILL and Indiana. Porcine bloodmeal was reported at $1400/st in Mo. River could not be confirmed as of press time. Ruminant bloodmeal remained stagnant on diminished interest from dairy sector and reformulations on feed.

Participants on the Mo. River have communicated pushback on porcine meat and bonemeal though the highs in each region continue to be indicated. Wide ranges are expected to persist with the soybean market fluctuations, lower than expected slaughter on proteins, as well as hit-and-miss export trade.

Poultry by-product pet food grade as well as feathermeal where within the previously set ranges for the day. Lighter demand than previous sessions was reported on pet grade due to planned maintenance at pet food processing plants.
