Indiana Porcine MBM Trades Lower to Close Week

For the end of the week, values were generally flat. Indiana porcine meat and bonemeal was the only adjustment with a new range of $500-525/st on reports of buyer pushback, similar to Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL. On porcine bloodmeal, light trades were reported as high as $1475/st., however, bulk of trade continues to be indicated as $1400/st. and lower.

The outlier on a mostly flat market this week was porcine meat and bonemeal, which trended lower on the Mo. River as well as Eastern IA/ILL. The Mo. River was lower by 4.1 percent or $20.50/st. Both regions were down on accounts of buyer pushback and increased offering levels at some locations.
