Values for the CME grains were lower at mid-week. Soybeans were lower by $0.3075 to $15.46/bu, while corn dropped $0.1725 to $5.40/bu. Additionally, soymeal was at $464.70/st with a decrease of $10.90. Wheat dropped $0.4025 to settle at $7.20/bu. Most items moved lower for the day on the drop in the U.S. credit rating, favorable weather conditions in much of the Corn Belt, and the continued war between Russia and Ukraine.
