International Animal Proteins 03.08.2023

Most values on the international animal proteins market were flat for the week on diminished trade flows. Minor movement on meat and bonemeal Australia was reported for both domestic and export demand. Soybean meal started to firm and dropped this week, keeping several inactive in the market. Domestic aqua and petfood are the major buyers for poultry meal, and decreased export demand has pressured values.

New Zealand meat and bonemeal was also quiet, with buyers reportedly trying to push offers lower. Limited trade was reported on NZ as well for the week.

Limited trade was reported on the US interior for the week, diminishing price adjustments. Most participants called the market flat and traded within the previously set ranges.
