Light Trades Leave Market Flat; Ruminant BM, Mo. River Stagnant

Light Trades Leave Market Flat; Ruminant BM, Mo. River Stagnant

Animal proteins were stagnant for Thursday on communications of a quiet market.

Ruminant bloodmeal, Mo. River, has been generally stagnant for the past several sessions. Weaker values were indicated at the start of July due to lower soybean meal values and diminished pricing on dairy products. As of week-ending July 28th, vales have lingered above the three-year average but remain under 2022, which saw substantial gains on diminished offering levels and brisk demand.

From March 2023, monthly ruminant bloodmeal values have been under the prior year with July showing the largest decline, of $406.25/st. However, as of mid-June, values have been steady to slightly weaker.
