Four cars of packer BFT traded 68 cts/lb Chicago today and two cars of technical tallow and two cars of edible tallow were done at 77 cts/lb Chicago. Choice white grease was quiet on an FOB basis with indications and light volume reported steady. The Chicago market was unquoted today due to a lack of activity. Values have been suggested closer to 68.5 Chicago, and trading was done at this level, but outside of the Chicago rail corridor.

Yellow grease and used cooking oil moved higher out of the Illinois market today, supported by higher values into delivered markets over the last week, and Mo. River yellow grease was higher on a strong choice white grease market.
