Robust UCO and Tallow Import Volumes Continue

Trading was very quiet today with most markets steady. More than one source summed the market up today by suggesting that sellers don’t have to sell lower, and buyers don’t need to pay higher prices. Used cooking oil (UCO) into the Gulf market was lower today in a wide spread, 63 – 65 cts/lb delivered for nearby material with location and delivery in truck vs rail accounting for the 2 cts/lb spread.
